Make a Difference for Women with Breast Cancer Today

a learning & healing breast cancer community

Radiant Healing Together (RHT) serves our community with vital learning and support for women diagnosed with any stage of breast cancer.  Together with our community partners, RHT offers the only metastatic breast cancer retreats in New Mexico and provides live virtual classes and support to over 700 women on our community platform. Women in rural communities can join support events daily and receive accommodation and transportation support to attend our in-person events. Our Patient Relief fund sponsored by the National Breast Cancer Foundation eases the burden of treatment for those in need by providing assistance with medical co-pays, transportation to treatment, food, and living expenses.

No one should travel this road alone.

Your donation makes a vital difference in providing daily and ongoing support to women on the breast cancer journey.

“As Oncology Nurse Navigator at Lovelace Cancer Center, I know what a difference support and education can make on the difficult journey of breast cancer. I’m so glad RHT is providing Stage IV breast cancer retreats and events. They have a huge library of health information as well as recorded and live events to support women as they are healing. RHT also administers Patient Relief funds for our patients who need a helping hand as they heal from this disease. As a volunteer at their events, I see first hand the impact the RHT community is having for breast cancer thrivers. I am grateful for the difference it’s making on the breast cancer community.”

Our Story

As the founder of Radiant Healing Together, my healing journey began with my own diagnosis with Stage 3C breast cancer in 2018. As a single mom with no family nearby, I learned fast what a difference community can make in our sense of wellbeing and quality of life as we are managing a hard diagnosis and treatment. As a lifelong meditator and meditation teacher, I also knew how the mind-body-spirit connection can improve our well-being each step of the way.

Having studied Nutrition and Public Health at both University of California at Berkeley and in my masters program at Maryland University of Integrative Health, I approached my healing journey with deep dives into research and learning with medical teams in New Mexico and across the country. I learned:
  • The critical role stress can play in suppressing our immune function.
  • How nutrition and movement can transform our wellbeing and healing.
  • That sense of support and community can transform a challenging experience into one where we can feel loved and uplifted and impact our outcomes and longevity.

I now know that women heal in community. We heal as we come together and lift one another up. My friend Lisa Rosen inspired our group in 2022 when she told me, “I need a community to heal.” And we experience the healing impact of this in our virtual events on our platform and app, in our in-person breast cancer brunches and MBC retreats, and in the patient support we administer to offer women in need of a helping hand on this journey.

I’m so grateful for our support from the National Breast Cancer Foundation, our community and cancer center partners. We are able to provide this vital support and services thanks to you!

“The reality is we are–all of us–walking the high wire with no net. But we prefer the illusion of safety, an illusion that falls away in an instant when we hear the words, “You have cancer.” And this can be our profound point of transformation. Once the bottom drops out, illusions fall away and we find ourselves with an opportunity to deepen into hope, trust, even into grace.”
